As Oil prices are increasing we are going to see other markets pull back. Key levels on this oil trade.  Point of control is coming in at 104.93.  If support holds here buyers are in control. Oil trading at any level above 107.10 will  start to put pressure on the Dow Jones Transit and S&P500. 112 target in the mid term. and anything over 116, and we will look for a sell off on the major indexes. On the Emini's for the S&P, Monday, Feb 19, was the highest high since spring of 2011, it was on extremely low volume, since it was President's Day in America, at 1369.50.   Wednesday, Feb 22- High was 1364 and Low was 1353.  On the 60 min chart it looks like a 3 day pull back.

Due to easing of monetary funds of Europe and this week in China, 1% maybe the only pull back we get at this time.

Support in this area on a Daily is 1353, 1351, 1346. and well tested 1340.

Resistance, on a Daily will be 1360, 1363 and of course Monday's Highs of 1369.50.

The futures this Thursday morning, are looking within yesterday's lower  range. A larger retest would be healthier for this market.

The resistance at 1362.25 ( the top trendline ) proved strong and price came tumbling down to then reach strong support at 1355.25. There is a definite bearish trend on the whole. The price at this time is hanging around the 50SMA. If the sellers pressure to test support and keep the trend 1st target is 1355.75, then to 1355.25. If support breaks the next target is 1354 to 1353. If buyers come in price will test resistance 1356.75. Next target is 1358.25 then 1359.25 on to 1360.50. The S&P500 is in a bear channel testing down to 1354. The point of control for today is 1357 and the sellers are in control. The Long term support shows a bottom in his range of 1353-1354. If this gives way, support is coming in at 1346, then 1332 for a sell off. More than likely the furthest we could test down is 1352 on the day with a consolidated close at 1357. Buyers could step into this bear channel to execute a bull flag with a test off of 1352 if there is price failure. The descending resistant trend line would give us the first area of resistance at 1360. if Buyers do not commit to the move the bearish channel will still hold and the price will remain in this very congested zone with a 12 to 14 point range. Bull flag would start to execute with the break off 1364 then 1368 for resistance. On a longer term, the extension of this move could be to 1398 and a possible test above 1400. Day traders are ready to break new highs

Day traders are ready to break new highs on most major indexes.

The S&P500 emini futures is moving up once it breaks this support on the 24 hour after hours chart.  Watch as day traders test up and price  finds its support into the Friday closing. With seemingly no commitment to take it higher, expecting volume to decrease through out the day with a rally from three oclock.  A small range, probably with in 10 points at this top unless day traders really step in on the bid.  Considering the malaise in Europe, I wouldn't expect Friday to be where the Market makers are establishing their position. Day Traders have given this support at yesterdays close and are showing some strength at theses price levels.  First support for this move is 1355.50 to 1356.75, we will probably spend most of the day cycling through here. If this area is not supported, we could see day traders move this to 1353 then our next area of support will be the 1348 area. Since breaking this resistance, Day traders are looking to keep this above Thursday's close.  The first area of resistance which was tested in the over night was 1360.50 with some price failure at 1361.25.  If the buyers rally through that level then we are looking for an extension to 1365, and an extreme high of 1368.  As I have mentioned, the buyers are almost at exhaustion and we are seeing shorter range bars with decreasing real price.

 After a Strong open and posting an higher high since July 2011 of 1355.87 on the SP500.  The sellers came in and took control and took all the way down to the low of the 14th at 1340.83.  This low was bought by the buyers up to 1354.72 within 35mins.  Today close on SP500 was 1343.23

We could hold since there was some strength in the move on the 14th after price failure at 1337.75 on the EMINI Futures,which most DayTrading is calculated. If we do test the highs then the 1st Resistance will be 1351.50.  Then the next Resistance should be 1353.00 then the high of 1357.50 which the buyers could not push through and Sellers took control.

But it would be fair to say since the Sellers were in such strong force today we will most likly see a few more support levels touched and tested.  The first is the low of today on the SP Emini of 1347.50 to 1346.00.  The next support level is 1342.75 to 1340.00.  Low of the 14th (under the Gap of the 13th) of 1337.75.

The S&P500 emini future moved up on very light volume today. ON 1.27 million volume the S&P500 has traveled from 1322 to 1340. 18 points on a very small volume.   As long as this closes above 1332 the buyers will still be in control of this move.  If the emini closes below these levels we could see a sell off this next week.  If price can be contained at the highs  watch for consolidation up to 1350 over this next week. Resistance will be coming in at 1340 from previous swing highs in August, and then 1351 and further to 1365.  If there is less commitment on the buying side through this next week, I will be looking for a sell off or a small correction. Support on this move up will come at 1332.75 with Yesterdays high of 1325.25 acting as the first Major support.  If the market plays this back to this level and consolidates, watch for a rounding of the shoulder with smaller range days to complete a Head and shoulders pattern.  This is a crucial area of support here and if the buyers  are holding this we could see a test to higs of 1432 then 1465 and an extreme high of 1502 in the year.
